wIRE RODS

WHAT IS WIRE ROD?

Wire rod is a cylindrical, elongated metal product typically produced in coil form. This material can be manufactured from various metals, including steel, aluminium, copper, and stainless steel etc Wire rods are available in circular or polygonal cross-sections, with our offerings being circular R.M of different grades.

WIRE DRAWING PROCESS

1. The wire drawing process is straightforward. Initially, a spool of wire is placed in coil form at the beginning of the machine. To feed it through the machine, the end of the wire must be cut and pointed.

2. It is then fed through the machine and passes through dies to achieve its final cross-sectional area.

3. At the end of the machine, a coil collector gathers the finished wire at the desired cross-sectional area. The final wire is then bound and packed according to customer requirements, covering aspects such as weight and type of packing.

4.Identification and traceability are maintained from the moment the material is received through all stages of processing until dispatch.

Our Range

We are capable of producing wire rods ranging from 4 mm to 32 mm in diameter.
