BRIGHT BAR MANUFACTURING PROCESS
1. Bright bars are manufactured through processes such as cold drawing, centerless grinding, peeling, shaving, turning, or a combination there of. This results in superior dimensional accuracy, a smooth surface, straightness, and minimal surface defects.
2. Before drawing, the material undergoes pickling and coating to prepare it for the subsequent processes.
3. The raw material is initially rolled into a steel bar. Depending on customer requirements, it may also undergo a soft annealing process.
4. During the drawing process, one end of the material is secured in the gripping device of the drawing machine, which pulls the bar through a die. This die reduces the diameter of the original bar, consequently increasing its length.
5. The final product of a bright bar boasts a perfectly polished finish. This process not only enhances mechanical properties and machining characteristics but also ensures precise and uniform diameter tolerances.
