Bright bars are manufactured through processes such as cold drawing, centerless grinding, peeling, shaving, turning, or a combination of these, resulting in superior dimensional accuracy, a smooth surface finish, excellent straightness, and minimal surface defects. Before drawing, the material undergoes pickling and coating to prepare it for further processing. The raw material is first rolled into a steel bar and, depending on customer requirements, may also be soft annealed. During the drawing process, one end of the bar is secured in the drawing machine, which pulls it through a die that reduces the diameter and increases the length of the bar. The final bright bar features a perfectly polished finish, enhanced mechanical properties, better machining characteristics, and precise, uniform diameter tolerances.
